The Hap-Happp-HAPPPPIIIIEEEEESSSST OF Holidays 2 ALL

A very special 'thank you' to the folks who took the time to participate in a dream of mine which was to start a site devoted to 'Classic Lenses'.

More important than that, and most important to everybody is you and everybody close to you staying safe and staying healthy, and I hope everybody was able to accomplish that for 2007, and you have my best wishes for staying safe and healthy for 2008 and beyond.

Happy Holidays everybody, and best wishes for 2008 and beyond.

Take care

Jonathan

Jonathan thank you for the thought you had and carried through with this site. I have, and will continue to enjoy the work you and others contribute to the old lens threads here.

Thank you for your kind thoughts for 2008, i hope to contribute more images as the year passes.

As a Christian the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ is important to me and I would like to pass on a "gift" given to me 30 years ago.

From the gospel of John.

11 Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what we know and testify what we have seen. And you do not receive our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how shall you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
13 And no one has ascended up to Heaven except He who came down from Heaven, the Son of man who is in Heaven.
14 But even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up,
15 so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
18 He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.

I trust you all have a time of peace and fulfillment with family and friends over this time.

Thank you Steve, for a very beautiful passage, and tied in perfectly for this time.

Take care

May you always ride an easy-walking horse,
compose underneath a light-sealed dark cloth,
enough light for your f2.5 bokeh,
sleep 'neath a rain-tight roof,
and eat high on the hog every day of the year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
HAPPY 2008
