Resizing and/or replacing images

Hi Folks

If your uploaded image is partly cut-off(larger than 8x10 on the horizontal), you can click on the image, which will make guidelines appear around the outside of the image, you can then use your mouse to resize the image.

If you decide to replace an image, click in the workspace just behind the image as if you're about to type something, and then hit the backspace key until the image disappears.

Next, simply click on the 'insert image', icon, and upload a replacement image.

Ciao

I've got a lot to learn about making these entries.  Can't get stuff to go where I want it.  Oh well, suffice to say

I very nearly dumped this lens until I made these images earlier this evening.  No longer 4 Sale :D

Flower Vase-Voigtlander Euryscop vs Kodak AeroEktar

I decided to see how these 2 lenses, the Voigtlander Euryscop IV, Ser III, and the AeroEktar would handle the same subject matter.  I used a 6x12 magazine and Ilford FP4 rollfilm, for the Euryscop shot, and 4x5 Ilford FP4 sheetfilm w/the AeroEktar, I used rollfilm to bracket like hell since this was the setup, and then when I got an idea of what I was up against, I then went to sheet film.

I didn't make any attempt to make this scientific, the Euryscop was shot wideopen which I believe is at about F6 @1sec., and was scanned in RGB, and then was completely desaturated of color.  I scanned in the AeroEktar in RGB(hell if I know why), and left it that way, couldn't bring myself to turn the knob to desaturate it

I took 4 exposures of the Vase w/the AeroEktar wideopen(F2.5), 1/30, 1/8, 1/2, and the 1 sec, this one is the 1/2sec shot.

I like the AeroEktar shot better, maybe better isn't the right term, I like the AeroEktar difference on this particular shot, doing this has 'wetted my appetite' in terms of using both lenses, I don't the books is closed for me on either lens. I get the feeling that the next shot, depending on the subject matter, could have produced a preference for the Euryscop.

You guys pic 'em.

Take care

Marky Mud Face

                                                                Marky mud face.

My brother's middle boy.  Technically not his, but
he has been dad since Mark was very small.  He came
in the bargain when Jeff married his childhood
                                                               sweetheart, Donna.

                                                        Mr. & Mrs. Mark Kirkland

Mark swore marriage was not in the cards for him.
And we sort of believed him.  Then he met Sandy
                                                            and his world changed.

Ours too.  What a treat for us to meet and mingle
with her beautiful family!  I wish I could have
photgraphed them ALL.  I settled for
                                               Hazel & George, Sandy's grandparents.

Technical crap:  I used the ancient Kodak 2D 8X10 camera
with an 1872 Darlot Petzval lens.  Exposure of 1/25th
second was handled by a Packard shutter.
The Petzval is about 12 1/2 inch
focal length and was of course, shot wide open.
